Real-Time Call Flow in Wireshark (5G NAS Communication)

In this video, we explore a real-time 5G NAS (Non-Access Stratum) call flow captured using Wireshark, the world’s most widely used network protocol analyzer. The focus is on the UE registration process, from the Initial UE Message to Registration Complete. Wireshark helps us decode and inspect the NAS protocol messages exchanged between the User Equipment (UE) and the 5G Core, offering a clear view of how mobility and session management are handled in a live network scenario. This technical walkthrough gives learners and professionals a hands-on understanding of how 5G signaling truly works behind the scenes.
